"High Performance Composites for a Changing World" - 4^th SAMPE Europe Technical Conference

The 4^th SAMPE Europe Technical Conference will be held from 17^th to 18^th September, 2009 at the Tortworth Court Three Pillars Hotel, Bristol. Obituary for Ed Trewin

Many in the carbon fibres and composites world will be sad to learn of the death on 2^nd April, 2009 of Ed Trewin at the age of 64 years. He had battled courageously with motor neuron disease over the previous two years. Full obituary can be found here.

"The Carbon Footprint" - 9^th Annual Technical Conference, 2009

June 2008

SAMPE announces YOUNG MEMBERS' TRAVEL GRANTS
SAMPE UK and Ireland chapter has initiated a new travel grant for young members of the chapter to assist them in attending national and international conferences as well as to visit other university / centre of excellence for a brief period. An application form can be found here. Once completed, this should be submitted to the secretary.
